Women on the Map

The Women on the Map app uses Google Field Trip to push notifications when you are near a place where a woman did something historic. Kathleen, this made me think of your presentation on the lack of “women in bronze” & using VR apps to visualize women in history.

Wouldn’t it be cool to create a “City of Print” app? Or even, a “Women in the City of Print” app? 😉

Yes, I am interested in both of these projects as I had hoped to map the work of a woman publisher of a series and a magazine (in the 1920s and 30s). I’m also interested a few other printer/publishers and magazines in NYC (in the 19-teens, 1920s, 30s, and 60s). I’m also very interested in mapping literary history in general.
